Shipping policy
Domestic Shipping
We strive to ship every sample order within 2-5 business days; however, this cannot be guaranteed as some may have to be made to order. Any order received after 12:00 PM PT may not ship until the next business day. Once your order has been packed and is ready for pickup by our Shipper, you will receive an Order Status email with tracking information.
Delivery Times
Are estimates for shipments going from our address in Palm Desert, Ca to your US address.
- UPS/FedEx: Approximately 1-5 business days.
- Priority Mail: Approximately 1-3 business days.
- Freight (Large Orders): Approximately 3-7 days.
- Rush Orders: If you need same-day shipping, require UPS Saturday Delivery, or have other urgent shipping needs, please place your order over the phone at 1 323 953 0604. We are available Monday through Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PT.
Shipping Method: All sample orders will be shipped via UPS, Fedex or USPS (United States Postal Services), unless you specify and would like another or specific carrier. We use USPS for samples up to 4 pieces, which is the cheapest and fastest option. If you would like to use your own shipping carrier and account please call and place your order.
Shipping Costs: To calculate the shipping rate, add items to your cart and select your location. During checkout, you will be able to select from a variety of shipping options that provide a range of shipping costs. Our system calculates shipping costs automatically according to the weight and shipping address destination.
Large Orders: Orders with more than six boxes may ship via a Freight company on a palette and will always be insured. We may contact you before we prepare your order with an updated shipping cost. Please expect a call from the freight company, who will schedule an appointment to deliver your order. Additional services requested by the customer, such as using a forklift or inside delivery, may incur additional charges to the customer. Ceramic Concepts reserves the right to bill you for charges made above the paid shipping charges on an order.
International Shipping
We offer multiple methods of international shipping, but they usually fall into two categories: slow and economical and fast and expensive. Please contact us to have this cost calculated for you.
UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping usually arrives in four to seven business days and is highly recommended for international orders.
The quality and timeliness of postal services vary by country. As a result, orders sent to addresses outside the United States are sent at the customer’s risk. If you want a quick delivery and point-to-point tracking, please select a UPS shipping method or, for samples, Priority Mail International from the US Postal Service. You may also call to place your order and use your FedEx or DHL account for shipping.
All duties (or customs tariffs) are not included in the item price or shipping charges and are the buyer's responsibility. Duty is set by the destination country’s customs authorities and is determined based on a combination of the country of origin or manufacturing of the goods being purchased and the classification of that merchandise under a harmonized system. Please check with your country's customs office to determine these additional costs before buying. The carrier usually collects customs fees on delivery but may also be billed later.
Shipping Address Accuracy
We ship to the address you provided during your checkout. Please ensure its accuracy—if changes need to be made, please let us know.
I hope this never happens, but in case a shipment is undeliverable, refused, or delivered to an incorrect address (incorrect zip code, missing apartment/suite/office number/name, etc.) due to customer error, the customer will be charged for both the original shipment charges and any additional charges if the carrier charges us to return the item to us (a common UPS practice).
As our orders are all made to order, we will, however, expect payment for the order.
Change of address: If a shipping address is changed during the transit of package(s), and the freight or shipping company charges additional fees, the customer will be charged the additional fee.
Backorders: If there is any delay in making your tiles, we will let you know as soon as possible and ship the backorders separately if that is your preference. Most backorders are fulfilled within 3 to 5 weeks.
Promotional Free Shipping: We sometimes offer free shipping promotions on selected murals. Orders are sent using our Standard Shipping method, which is usually FedEx ground home delivery.
Free shipping applies ONLY to domestic U.S. shipping addresses within the 48 contiguous U.S. states and may not include Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO, and U.S. Territories.
