Terms & Conditions

First and foremost please remember that these tiles are handmade and in some instances hand cut. There will be variations and imperfections – this is the beauty of handmade products.

While all products that are custom made are not refundable – we will always work with you to make sure you get what you ordered and what you like. To this end we always make sure that you have samples to approve either in person or if you are comfortable from a picture before we start making your tiles in bulk.

INSPECTION UPON DELIVERY

Immediately upon delivery, please inspect your tiles for accuracy of materials ordered, including quality, color and quantity. In the unlikely event that tiles may have been damaged during shipment, a freight claim must be filed with the delivering carrier within five (5) days of receipt of material. Any damage that is visible upon delivery must be noted on the freight carrier delivery receipt. All claims must be presented in writing to the delivering carrier with a copy to Ceramic Concepts.

The customer or customer’s representative should inspect the tile before installation. Installation signifies acceptance and no adjustments can be made once material has been installed. Tiles should be installed by pulling from all pallets or cartons to insure optimal blending of shade variation. In some instances where there is deliberate shading variances we will mark the boxes to let you which shade is in which box.

LEAD TIME

If you order from our “instock “ tiles lead times can take as little as 14 days or in some cases may exceed 120 days depending on the bisque used (availability) and the quantities order. Special/custom orders likely take 2-4 weeks in development of glaze and patterns for the sample and then an additional 4-6 weeks on average for the mass production. This again varies on the quantities ordered and our schedule – please contact us with your specific details to confirm and get a quote. None of our tiles are inventoried at this time – so please know that each order is made to order. Please place your order as far in advance as possible to ensure that all the tiles are available when you need it.

QUANTITIES

While Ceramic Concepts design consultant is available to help design your installation and to help estimate quantities, we will not be held responsible for final quantities. Your interior designer, architect or tile setter should provide you with quantities for ordering. We recommend that you order 5 to 10% extra to use for cuts and any miscounts that might come up. Any additions or changes to the original order could delay the delivery date and may result in dye lot variation. We cannot guarantee color or shade matching from shipment to shipment.

INSTALLATION

Ceramic Concepts does not accept responsibility or liability for installation, grouting, sealing or refinishing of any product. Please do you research and consult your tile setter/contractor.
